School transport module

Schoolysoft transport module — Transport module — overview of routes and pupil enrolments.

The transport module lets you manage school transport routes, their stops, pupil enrolments and the daily boarding/alighting roll call.

This module corresponds to your school’s transport subscription option. If it does not appear in the menu, contact your Schoolysoft representative to have it enabled on your plan — there is no activation screen in the settings.

Features

Routes: create routes with a direction (Outbound, Return or Outbound-Return), a vehicle and an ordered list of stops.
Enrolments: enrol a pupil on a route and a stop for a given school year, with an amount, a currency and a payment mode entered directly on the enrolment.
Roll call: a daily attendance sheet per route and per direction, to record who boarded, was absent, or was late.

There is no automatic integration with the school’s global invoicing: the transport amount entered on the enrolment stays specific to the transport module. There is also no real-time journey tracking for parents — the only tracking available is the roll call performed by staff.
