Absence Statistics and Dashboard

Attendance Dashboard

This page is reached at /attendance/dashboard (it does not yet have a dedicated entry in the navigation menu). It shows:

• Absent today and Late today;
• Absence rate for the day and for the month (global rates — no per-class breakdown on this page);
• Pending justifications;
• the number of pupils who have reached each alert threshold (Pupils at threshold N1, N2, N3);
• a weekly trend chart.

Two links at the top of the page lead to the Validation Queue (justifications awaiting approval from the student welfare officer / administration) and the Period Summary.

Period Summary

Dedicated page (/attendance/period-summary): select a pupil and a period to get their absence summary (unjustified half-days, etc.) over that period.

There is no “Reports → Generate Report” section today: period analysis goes through this summary page, pupil by pupil.

Per-Class Breakdown

The per-class breakdown of absenteeism is not on the Attendance Dashboard but in the Reporting module (/reporting/attendance), which includes an attendance heatmap by class.

Alert Thresholds

Thresholds are fixed, expressed in unjustified half-days per calendar month, and cannot be configured:

• N1: 3 half-days
• N2: 5 half-days
• N3: 10 half-days (regulatory threshold)

School Reports

Absences are always included in school reports: there is no option to exclude them.
