Enable or disable an option
Schoolysoft uses an activatable options system. Each option corresponds to a functional module. The available options depend on your subscription plan: Starter, School, School+, Academy, or Enterprise.
Options are not managed from the school’s Settings, but from Administration -> Subscription.
A few examples of options by plan

Messaging and the class diary are not activatable options: they are included in every plan.
The Subscription page
Administration -> Subscription shows three sections:
- Active options: options already enabled for your school.
- Available options: options your current plan allows but that you have not enabled yet.
- Locked options: options that require a higher plan than yours. Each one shows the label “Plan [plan] required”.
Enabling an option
- Administration -> Subscription.
- Find the option under Available options.
- Enable it directly — if the option requires a plan change, a Stripe payment is triggered to upgrade the subscription.
The option becomes available immediately to all relevant users in the school once activation is confirmed.
Option locked by your plan
If an option appears under Locked options with the label “Plan [plan] required”, click Upgrade plan to change your subscription plan and unlock the option.
