Digital class journal
The digital class journal centralises lesson content and homework set by teachers. It becomes visible to pupils and authorised parents once a lesson is published.
Unlike a free-form journal, every lesson comes directly from the teacher’s timetable: there is no manual lesson creation. Each scheduled timetable slot becomes an entry to fill in.

How it works
- Timetable-driven lessons: the date, subject and class are inherited automatically from the timetable slot and cannot be changed while filling in a lesson.
- Statuses: Not filled in, Draft (saved but not published), Published, Overdue (past slot not filled in within the expected time).
- Lesson content: free text with simple formatting (bold, italic, bullet list), a minimum of 20 characters is required to publish.
- Homework: added per lesson, with a type, a due date and an estimated duration.
- Progressive lock: once published, a lesson remains editable by its author for 30 days, then locks permanently.
- Only the author can edit: even the school leadership cannot edit the content of a lesson created by a teacher. No lesson can ever be deleted.
