Exit authorisations
Exit authorisations govern exceptional absences for a pupil: the request circulates between the school and the legal guardian before being approved.
The authorisation workflow
- Awaiting signature: the request has been created and is awaiting the guardian’s signature.
- Signed by parent: the guardian has signed; the request can now be reviewed.
- Approved: the pastoral team has validated the exit.
- Rejected: the request has been refused.
- Cancelled: the request has been cancelled.
School side
The Head of Year (or administrator) approves an authorisation once it has been signed by the guardian. Until the signature is provided, the authorisation remains pending. The interface does not currently offer a reject action.
Parent side
The guardian receives the request and signs it electronically from the e-mail they receive.
